Phalaenopsis Chih Shang’s Stripes ‘Kuolynche’
While these produce nice striped flowers (white background with an even, overall striping) the REAL reason to grow it is because of its georgeous variegated foliage! They have a white border on each leaf (with a little more white on them—each leaf is a little different). They also have a rich pink in the stripes. The tri-color leaves are such a bonus when surrounded by “regular” phalaenopsis!

We haven’t taken a photo of the flowers (we never really intended to sell them)...but there are a few nice photos on the web.

This select plant has TWO spikes beginning. We’ve trimmed a couple of bottom leaves that were getting a little unsightly, and there’s a little hole in a top leaf. It’s a VERY healthy plant in a 5-1/2" pot.
