Phragmipedium
Grande Maurice Powers
=(caudatum
x longifolium Hartwegii)
First made in 1881, this hybrid is still a true beauty and one that adds
grace to any orchid collection! Wve had this plant for MANY years
and it is an excellent grower and most excellent bloomer, too. We got
our original plant from the late Will Chantry (Baker & Chantry Orchids
in Woodinville, Washington). The picture of the flower is of this exact
plant.
This select plant is a large, well-established division with approx. 20
growths in a 6-1/2" pot. One is shown in the arms of our five-year-old
son.
