Aerangis
biloba
This Aerangis
gets its name from its unique bi-lobed leaf which is especially pronounced
as plants reach maturity. It is a warm-growing species, and in its native
environment (Africa) is found growing on food crops such as cocoa and
coffee. We grow them on cork plaques. Like most plaqued Aerangis, it requires
regular watering and rewards its grower with blooms in the spring and
summera dozen or more long-lived, fragrant flowers. This is a modest
sized Aerangis [with relatively large flowers] and is one of the easiest
to grow and bloom of the aerangis.
