This Aerangis gets its name from its unique bi-lobed leaf which is especially pronounced as plants reach maturity. It is a warm-growing species, and in its native environment (Africa) is found growing on food crops such as cocoa and coffee. This is a modest sized Aerangis [with relatively large flowers] and is one of the easiest to grow and bloom of the aerangis. We grow them on cork plaques and in pots. They require regular watering with regular drying between; base your watering frequency on how you choose to grow it. It rewards its grower with blooms in the summer [sometimes other times of the year] with a dozen or more long-lived, fragrant flowers.
