Aerangis umbonata has lovely two-tone flowers with long nectaries. Lovely plants!

 Aerangis umbonata
Here’s another aerangis with confusion surrounding its name/identity. The “experts” call it fuscata. We imported some of each name from Madagascar in 2008...and the plants are nothing alike. The ones called umbonata look and bloom like one we got from Fred Hillerman in the 80s called umbonata (also likely brought in from Madagascar). They are miniature; with a blooming sized plant being 2 to 2-1/2” across. The flowers are nothing short of SPECTACULAR!
