Angraecum
calceolus
In nature,
this is a relatively widespread Angraecum, found both in Africa, Madagascar
and nearby islands. These are nice smallish clumping angraecums. Each
time they bloom, they produce more spikes with more flowers. Older plants
can even have branched inflorescences. Theyre one of the easy-to-grow
angraecums to include in your collection. They are in the Gomphocentrum
section, which all have smallish, thin (almost see-through), yellowish-green
flowers. A large plant in full bloom is quite a sight!
