Angraecum elephantinum - large white flowers on a small plant, they are fragrant after dark

 Angraecum elephantinum
A small (a little larger than a true miniature) angraecum that grows best on a plaque, elephantinum is a great choice for the Angraecoid connesuier! These plants, native to Madagascar, are rarely available to the orchid collector. The flower size is large (especially compared to the plant size—hence the name) and the star-shaped flowers are absolutely beautiful! It’s another moth-pollinated one that is fragrant in the evening.
