Angraecum
leonis
Native to Madagascar
and the Comoro Islands, these were discovered and first described
by collectors in 1885. Its white flowers are long lasting, and possess
an exquisite evening and nighttime fragrance. The plant has an interesting
fan-like form all on its own. They are quite easy to grow and bloom under
intermediate light levels. Even large specimen plants are of moderate
sizegreat for those of us running out of space for our orchid collecting!!!
This is a lovely addition to an orchid collection.
