Angraecum
praestans
This is one
you dont see very often. It is in the section Humblotiangraecum
that includes the popular species leonis, magdalenae and viguieri; all
mid to large plants with great fragrance. Native to the amazing island
of Madagascar, praestans is in great need of ex-situ propagation [grown/reproduced
in cultivation] to protect it from extinction! Each inflorescense has
several flowers. Ours grow and bloom well in warm, rather bright conditions.
Its a very special species.
