Dendrobium harveyanum
     This Asian beauty puts a smile on my face every time it blooms. We grow them in terra cotta pots, in a well draining mix. We’ve read that they require a dormancy, but we’ve found that potted this way, with our usual watering in the winter works well [we water everything LESS in the winter]. Our big plant often blooms twice a year for us; in spring and summer. The brilliant gold, frilly-lipped flowers are very exotic looking!
