 Dendrobium lichenastrum var. prenticei
This plant has several synomyms. It has been known as Dendrobium lichenastrum var prenticei and/or Dendrobium prenticei as well as Bulbophyllym lichenastrum and Dockrillia lichenastrum. The name is derived from its “lichen-like” habit of growing across rocks and branches in its native Australia. We grow ours in slightly brighter than “intermediate” light, alongside our other Dendrobium/Dockrillias and they are doing beautifully.

We haven’t bloomed ours yet, so what we suggest to see flower pictures is to type “Dendrobium lichenastrum” in a Google Images search. They are cute little things!
