We just love
it when common names for orchids make sense...this Javanese Eria
grows and blooms best in low light and intermediate to warm temperature.
Weve grown it in intermediate to bright light and though we didnt
kill it, it didnt look good and it never bloomed. We followed the
instruction of an early orchid mentor of ours who said if its
not working, change it! We did. They grow and bloom beneath other
plants (probably like they do in nature). The blossoms are pretty, and
surprisingly long lasting, too.
