Guarianthe
aurantiaca Marisa
This plant
may be better known under its former name of Cattleya aurantiaca. Still,
the same great plant, a mature specimen in full bloom is a sight to be
seen! Ours bloom like clockwork every March (and occasionally another
lesser blooming some other time of the year). The flowers form in clusters
and are VIVID ORANGE. Even though the flowers are small for the size of
the plant, they are produced in great quantity, making them a great addition
to the orchid collection for their ease of growing and blooming. They
are hardy and thrive in a wide range of temperature conditions.
