Jumellea arachnantha
     Native to the Comoros Islands. We read a description of this plant as being “robust”...it is a good single-word description for the large mature plants [they are one of the larger jumelleas]! They don’t need to be “robust” to bloom though—they begin blooming at a reasonable size. They plants produce many crystalline white, FRAGRANT flowers. The flowers are produced over a series of weeks on a large plant—so they provide quite a show! An unusual and interesting species.
