chinensis
This species
used to go by the name Coelogyne chinensis---and I find that makes sense;
both in how and where it grows well. Keep them in a spot with intermediate
light, dont let them get overly dry and they should stay happy.
As the inflorescence forms, it has an interesting rattlesnake [rattle
part] look to it...very neat. Sometimes the pot must be raised so that
the flower spike doesnt hit the table or bench. Theyre FRAGRANT,
too!
