Sarcochilus
hartmannii Joff
Perhaps the
most popular Australian orchid grown today, its ease of maintenance is
one of its most desirable traits. Its very fragrant and its flowers
are long lasting, by orchid-growing standards. In nature it is rupiculous
and benefits greatly from light and warmth. This little beauty grows to
specimen size in just a few short seasons and rewards the grower with
an abundance of flowers during the spring (Australian fall).
