Coconut Husk Chips
     These have been pre-washed and pressed to reduce leachable salts. Coconut husk chips act like little sponges; they soak up an amazing amount of water and stay moist for quite some time. We use the chips as an addition to our orchid mixes, though some people use them alone. They break down slowly in comparison to bark.
