Tree
Fern Balls
These are carved
from the trunk of South American tree ferns. Orchids and other epiphytes
grow beautifully on tree fern plaques and balls. They are able to send
their roots through the fibers and attach themselves throughout the substrate
to benefit from the evenly distributed moisture and fertilizer within
(you are using dilute fertilizer in your water, right?). Growing your
orchid on tree fern allows it to grow more like it would in nature.
These are available in two sizes; 2-1/2"and 6". There
is a bit variation in size and shape.
